Skillet Care:

  • Avoid harsh scrubbing:
    Never use steel wool or other abrasive scrubbing pads as they can strip away the pan's seasoning.

  • Minimal soap:
    Use only a tiny amount of dish soap to clean, as too much can remove the seasoning.

  • Dry immediately:
    Always dry the pan completely after washing to prevent rusting.

  • apply oil or fat:
    After drying, apply a thin layer of cooking oil or fat to the pan before storing.

For stubborn stuck-on food:
  • Simmer in water: Add a small amount of water to the pan and simmer on low heat to loosen stubborn food before scrubbing
  • Wood spatula: Use a wooden or plastic spatula to scrape off remaining food particles.

Do not:
